We test for colorfastness to protect natural and vegetable dyes from bleeding, fading, or permanent distortion.
Using a commercial-grade flatbed beater, we mechanically loosen and extract embedded particulate from the front and foundation — eliminating the majority of dry contaminants prior to washing.
Before applying any cleaning solution, we flush the rug with clear water to saturate the fibers and begin loosening surface soil.
We apply pH-balanced cleaning solutions matched to your rug's specific fiber type and dye profile and hand wash using soft brushes with controlled agitation.
Fringe requires separate treatment with a fringe-specific formula applied precisely to restore whiteness without weakening the fiber or migrating into adjacent pile.
Full submersion power washing forces water through both sides of the rug simultaneously, flushing loosened soil and contaminants completely out of the structure until runoff runs clear.
Our industrial centrifuge spins at 1,200 RPM removing 96% of moisture immediately after washing — preventing browning and eliminating residual moisture that allows odor-causing bacteria to grow.
Temperature and airflow are regulated throughout — protecting wool fibers from felting, preserving silk sheen, and ensuring flat even drying without warping or shrinkage.
Every rug is inspected before it leaves our facility — color consistency, fringe condition, pile evenness, and overall presentation. Pile is groomed to restore natural sheen and texture.
