Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services of America's Rug Cleaning ("ARC," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 3821 E. Broadway Rd., Suite 9, Phoenix, AZ 85040. By scheduling, authorizing, or accepting services from ARC — whether in person, by phone, by text, or through our website — you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

ARC provides professional off-site rug cleaning, including but not limited to full submersion washing, fiber-specific treatment, pet urine and odor removal, fringe restoration, and related textile care services. All rugs are cleaned at our facility at 3821 E. Broadway Rd., Suite 9, Phoenix, AZ 85040. ARC does not provide on-site or in-home cleaning.

ARC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service on any rug at our sole discretion, including rugs that present a health or safety risk, rugs that are structurally unsound, or rugs where cleaning may cause further damage beyond reasonable repair.

2. Customer representations

By authorizing service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of the rug(s) submitted for cleaning, or you are authorized by the owner to submit the rug(s) for service.

  • You have disclosed, to the best of your knowledge, all relevant information about the rug(s), including fiber content, prior cleaning treatments, known damage, dye instability, pet urine saturation, or any other condition that may affect the cleaning process or outcome.

  • You understand that failure to disclose known conditions may affect the results of cleaning and may limit ARC's liability for any outcome.

3. Pre-existing damage and intake inspection

ARC conducts a visual intake inspection of all rugs upon pickup or drop-off. We will note visible pre-existing conditions including stains, odors, fiber damage, color loss, fringe wear, structural issues, and prior repairs. This inspection is the baseline record for your rug's condition at the time of service.

ARC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, latent defects, or conditions that were not visible or reasonably detectable at the time of intake. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Color bleeding or dye instability caused by non-colorfast dyes already present in the rug

  • Fiber damage, dry rot, or structural failure revealed during the cleaning process

  • Odors or stains that do not fully respond to cleaning due to deep saturation or prior chemical treatments

  • Damage resulting from undisclosed prior repairs, backing treatments, or chemical applications

If ARC identifies a condition during cleaning that was not apparent at intake, we will contact you before proceeding and document our findings.

4. Satisfaction guarantee

ARC stands behind our work with a pay-when-thrilled guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the results of your cleaning, you are not obligated to pay until the issue is reviewed and addressed by ARC.

To invoke the guarantee:

  • You must notify ARC within 48 hours of delivery or pickup of your cleaned rug.

  • ARC will inspect the rug and, at our discretion, re-clean, treat, or otherwise remedy the concern at no additional charge.

  • The guarantee applies to the cleaning service performed. It does not apply to pre-existing conditions documented at intake, outcomes limited by the rug's fiber or dye characteristics, or damage resulting from undisclosed conditions.

  • ARC's maximum obligation under this guarantee is a full refund of the amount paid for the service in question.

5. Pricing and payment

Pricing is determined by rug size (measured in square footage), fiber type, and service selected. Final pricing is confirmed after intake inspection. No deposit is required to schedule service.

Payment is due upon delivery or pickup of your cleaned rug. ARC accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as posted on our website. In the event of a billing dispute, please contact us at (602) 858-1800 or americasrugcleaning@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your rug.

6. Pickup and delivery

ARC offers complimentary pickup and delivery within our standard service area. Pickup and delivery windows will be confirmed by phone, email, or SMS. You or an authorized representative must be present at the time of pickup and delivery.

ARC takes reasonable care in the handling and transportation of all rugs. In the event of loss or damage during transit that is directly caused by ARC's negligence, our liability is limited as described in Section 8. ARC is not responsible for damage caused by conditions present in the rug prior to pickup.

7. Unclaimed rugs and storage

Rugs are held at our facility at no charge for 14 days following completion of cleaning and notification to the customer. After 14 days, a storage fee of $5.00 per rug per day will be assessed.

If a rug remains unclaimed for 90 days following completion and notification — with no response to reasonable attempts to contact the customer — ARC reserves the right to treat the rug as abandoned in accordance with applicable Arizona law. ARC will make a good-faith effort to contact you by phone, SMS, and email before exercising this right.

8. Limitation of liability

This section limits ARC's financial liability in the event of a claim. Please read it carefully.

In the event of damage to or loss of a rug caused by ARC's negligence, ARC's liability shall be limited to the lesser of:

  • Ten times (10x) the cost of the cleaning service paid for the rug in question, or

  • The actual fair market value of the rug at the time of loss or damage, as determined by a mutually agreed-upon independent appraisal.

ARC is not liable for the following under any circumstances:

  • Consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages of any kind

  • Sentimental or appraised replacement value exceeding fair market value

  • Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, undisclosed defects, or customer misrepresentation

  • Loss or damage resulting from events outside ARC's reasonable control, including fire, flood, theft, or natural disaster

If you believe your rug has significant appraised value, we recommend obtaining independent insurance coverage prior to submitting the rug for service. ARC can provide documentation of custody and condition upon request.

9. Right to refuse service

ARC reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or on any rug at our sole discretion. Grounds for refusal include but are not limited to:

  • Rugs that pose a biohazard risk (e.g., severe fecal or urine contamination beyond safe handling thresholds)

  • Rugs with active insect infestation

  • Rugs in a state of structural failure where cleaning would cause further damage

  • Customers with outstanding unpaid balances from prior service

If ARC refuses service after pickup, we will return the rug to you at no charge and provide a written explanation of the reason for refusal.

10. SMS and email communications

By opting in to SMS or email communications, you agree to receive service notifications, appointment reminders, and promotional messages from ARC as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent to receive communications is not a condition of service. You may opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or ARC's services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against ARC.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or emergency relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

ARC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on our website and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify customers by email or SMS (if opted in) at least 10 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
