FAQ
Everything you need to know about our process, pricing, pickup and delivery, and what to expect when you work with us.
Pricing is based on rug size and type. We provide a free quote before any work begins — no surprises, no hidden fees. The quote you receive is exactly what you pay if you're satisfied. You don't pay anything until your rug is returned and you've had a chance to inspect it.
After. We deliver your rug back to you, you inspect it, and if you're satisfied you pay. Zero deposit. Zero payment upfront. If you're not thrilled with the result you owe us nothing. We offer this because our process consistently delivers results we're confident in.
Yes — free pickup and delivery anywhere in the Phoenix Metro Area. No service area surcharges. No minimum order to qualify. If you're in the Valley we'll come to you. The price you're quoted for cleaning is everything you pay.
Pet urine treatment and heavy soil cases may carry an additional charge depending on the extent of contamination. We'll always discuss this with you and get your approval before proceeding — you'll never receive a bill for something we didn't discuss in advance. The quote we provide after assessment is what you pay.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is collected at delivery after you've inspected your rug and are satisfied with the results.
Our 10-step facility process is fundamentally different from in-home steam cleaning. After inspection and dye testing, we mechanically dust both sides of the rug to remove embedded dry particulate before any water touches it. The rug is then hand washed with pH-balanced solutions, power rinsed from both sides until the water runs clear, centrifuge extracted at 1,200 RPM to remove 96% of moisture, and climate-controlled dried.
The result is a clean that reaches the foundation — not just the surface. Dirt, allergens, pet dander, and odor-causing bacteria that in-home cleaning leaves behind are completely flushed out.
In-home steam cleaning penetrates about 2 inches deep. Everything below that — the foundation, the backing, and anything embedded there — stays in the rug. Our full submersion process takes the rug to our facility, submerges it completely, and power rinses from both sides until clean water flows through. There's no comparison in depth of clean.
Most rugs are returned within 3 to 7 business days. Heavily soiled rugs, pet urine cases, or very delicate fiber types may require additional time. We'll give you a timeline estimate when we pick up your rug and contact you if anything changes.
Yes. We use pH-balanced, non-toxic cleaning solutions throughout our process. No harsh chemicals. No fragrances added to mask odors. Your rug is thoroughly rinsed until clean water runs clear — meaning no cleaning solution residue remains in the fibers when it returns to your home.
Yes — on every rug. We test for colorfastness before any solution is applied. This is especially important for hand-knotted rugs with natural vegetable dyes, Navajo rugs, silk rugs, and antique pieces. If any dye shows instability we adjust our chemistry and process before proceeding — never after.
Throughout the entire Phoenix Metropolitan Area — Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale, Queen Creek, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, and surrounding areas. If you're in the Valley we'll come to you at no charge.
No. We move furniture for you — sofas, chairs, coffee tables, ottomans — and replace everything exactly where it was when we return your rug. We protect your floors during the process. White-glove service is included with every pickup and delivery at no additional charge.

Yes — drop-off is welcome by appointment at our facility at 3821 E Broadway Rd #9, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Call ahead to confirm availability. Most customers prefer our free pickup service, but if you'd like to bring it in yourself we're happy to accommodate that.
We clean all types of area rugs — Persian, Oriental, Turkish, Navajo, silk, wool, synthetic, machine-made, hand-knotted, hand-tufted, flatweave, shag, and more. Each fiber type and construction style receives a protocol specifically adjusted for its needs. We do not clean wall-to-wall carpet — rugs only.
Yes — these are some of our most common and satisfying cleans. Wool and synthetic rugs from retail brands hold a surprising amount of embedded soil that standard cleaning doesn't reach. Full submersion often produces dramatic results — colors come back vibrant and the rug feels substantially softer underfoot.
Yes — our facility is equipped to handle rugs up to 10×14 ft and beyond. We also move them for you at pickup and delivery so you never have to handle rolling, carrying, or transporting a large heavy rug yourself.
Yes — outdoor rugs typically made from polypropylene or other synthetic fibers clean very well with our full submersion process. Phoenix outdoor rugs accumulate significant desert silt and organic debris. They often come back looking dramatically better than the owner expected.
Most stains — yes. Some stains cause permanent dye damage to rug fibers and cannot be fully removed regardless of cleaning method. Bleach contact, strong chemical spills, very old set-in stains, and some dye-based stains may leave a permanent mark. We'll assess the stain at intake and give you an honest expectation before we start. We never make promises we can't keep.
Yes. Our full submersion enzyme treatment eliminates pet urine odor at a molecular level — not just masking it. If any odor returns after we deliver your rug, we pick it up and re-clean it at no charge. You don't pay until your rug smells like absolutely nothing.
Blot immediately with a clean white cloth — never rub. Use cold water if you must apply any liquid. Do not apply store-bought carpet cleaner or stain remover — most are too alkaline for rug fibers and dyes. Call us as soon as possible. Fresh spills are significantly easier to treat than set-in stains, and we can often advise you over the phone on what to do in the meantime.
Use low suction and turn off the beater bar for all hand-knotted, wool, silk, and delicate rugs. The beater bar pulls pile fibers and accelerates wear. Vacuum in the direction of the pile — you can feel which direction the pile lies by running your hand across the surface. Vacuum weekly for high-traffic areas, less frequently for display pieces. Never vacuum fringe directly — it catches and pulls.
Yes — a quality rug pad is essential on hard floors. It prevents slipping, protects your floor from scratches, cushions foot traffic impact, and significantly extends the life of your rug. The wrong pad (particularly cheap rubber on hardwood or vinyl) can cause permanent floor staining. We sell and deliver properly sized pads with every cleaning order if you'd like one.
It depends on the rug type and how heavily it's used. General guidance for Phoenix homes — every 1 to 2 years for high-traffic wool rugs, every 2 to 3 years for Persian and Oriental rugs, every 3 to 5 years for silk and display pieces, and every 1 to 2 years for any rug in a home with pets. Phoenix's desert environment means rugs accumulate alkaline silt faster than in other climates, so we lean toward the shorter end of these ranges.
Always clean a rug before storing it — storing a dirty rug allows embedded soil and any organic contamination to degrade the fibers over time. Roll it pile-inward around an acid-free tube, wrap it in breathable cotton muslin (never plastic — it traps moisture), and store it flat or upright in a climate-controlled space away from direct light. Check it periodically for moisture and pest activity. We can advise on proper storage when we return your cleaned rug.
